What is Tribute to the Troops?
Tribute to the Troops is an annual event dedicated to honoring members of our military. We invite you to join us for a day of support and appreciation for those who have served and are currently serving. We’ll personally thank 1,000 service members and veterans with free concert tickets that day!

Do I need an offroad vehicle to attend? 
If riding that day, yes, but no vehicle is needed to attend the concert or other evening festivities.
 

Is this a family-friendly event?
All ages are welcome! Concertgoers including children 2 and up will need a ticket. Also, be mindful that alcohol will be available for attendees 21+.
 

What else is happening that day and evening?
Badlands is thrilled to welcome Machine Gun Preacher who will be conducting a meet and greet. Other festivities include a soldiers honor ceremony, fireworks, and more surprises you’ll NOT want to miss!

Badlands Offroad park, 3968 N Xavier Rd, Attica, IN 47918
 

Where is the concert located? 
The concert is located on the grass events field at Badlands Offroad Park
 

Do I need to bring anything?
We recommend bringing chairs or a blanket if attending the concert. No chair bags, please. No outside food or beverages are allowed. Also note the forecast is showing a very hot day. Dress accordingly and stay hydrated!
 

How much is parking for the concert? Where is the parking located?
General parking is $5.00 per vehicle and located adjacent to the event’s field. Limited VIP parking is available for $20.00 per vehicle.
All tickets are non-refundable. This included park passes, parking passes, and concert tickets. 
 

Will there be food and drinks available at the concert? 
There will be food vendors available during the concert. Alcohol will be available for purchase for concertgoers 21+ during the concert but only permitted on the events field in the designated area. To respect our family atmosphere, NO tailgating pre or post-event is permitted. NO carry-in alcohol is allowed at the concert. As always, alcohol is NOT permitted in the park.
 

What time does Tribute to the Troops start and end?
The Badlands opens at 9:00 a.m. The event closes after the concert. Riding is available between 9:00 and 7:00 p.m. The gates to the concert area open at 6:00 p.m. The national anthem takes place around 7:00 p.m, the concert will kick off around 7 :30 p.m, andwill end with fireworks near 11:00 p.m.

Enjoy extended riding Friday, the evening before the event, until 9:00 p.m. (Must have headlights, tail lights, and a quiet exhaust under 90 decibels to ride past dusk. Must be registered to ride prior to 7:00 p.m.)

Are there restrooms at the event?
Restrooms are available near the Badlands Pro Shop and porta potties will be available on the concert event field.
 

Are pets welcome at the event?
Leashed pets are welcome in the park and in the Badlands Pro Shop. Sorry, pets will not be permitted on the concert event field.
 

Are the trails going to be busy that day?
The park will be open and operating as usual but we do anticipate heavy attendance on the day of the event.
 

What if I don’t have a vehicle and want to ride that day? Can I borrow one?
We recommend renting a vehicle from Adventure Rentals located downtown in Attica, a short drive to Badlands. More info at adventurerentals.rent.
 

Where is the closest lodging to make a weekend of it?
Lodging is available very close to the Tribute to the Troops event! Reserve a campsite, cabin, or lodging house here offthetrailcampground.com
 

Can I come to the park to ride if I don’t plan to go to the event or concert?
Absolutely! All trails are open on the day of the event.
 

How is Badlands honoring the troops that day?

We are giving away 1,000 free concert tickets to military service members and veterans that day. A special salute and heartwarming tributes complement the evening.
